Marry 5 wives or be jailed – Swaziland King orders country men The King of Swaziland, King Mswati III has made a declaration in the country that men are required to marry at least five wives or go to jail. A statement by the King called for all men in the country to marry at least five wives, assuring the men that government would pay for the marriage ceremonies and buy houses for them. King Mswati warned that any man or woman who opposes the decision “will face a life sentence”. The order, according to IHarare, is to ensure every woman gets a husband as it is believed that men taking more wives will help women get husbands. The monarch noted that there are more women than men in Swaziland which he noted was a very serious problem for a country known to be full of virgins. … Zulum says APC’s unity more paramount A group, Progressive Consolidation Group, PCG, in support of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo ahead of the 2023 Presidential election, was in Maiduguri on Friday and paid courtesy call to Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum.   The group, led by its National Chairman, Dr. Aliyu Kurfi, was at the Government House in Maiduguri.  The group is coming weeks after a pro-Tinubu group held an event in Maiduguri which was attended by top Government officials serving under the Zulum administration. Zulum flags-off N11.5 billion works for 10 major roads, bridges Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, on Thursday, flagged-off N11.5 billion worth of construction works for eight major roads and two bridges cited in key parts of Maiduguri, the state capital. A Chinese construction company, Eighteenth Engineering Company (EEC) and a Borno-based construction company, Obtuse Tech Engineering Company Limited, both of which are to deliver the roads in one year in respect of contract awards recently signed after biddings and other processes were completed.  Zulum performed the flag-off around the popular post office round about on Ahmadu Bello Way in Maiduguri and it was attended by the Deputy Governor, Umar Usman Kadafur, SSG, Usman Jidda Shuwa, State APC Chairman, Ali Bukar Dalori, commissioners, other top government officials, site engineers and other technical persons.  The 10 construction works comprise dualising of Ahmadu Bello Way to Bama road junction, She
