Prof Zulum Commissions and launches Al ansar Security Service and corporate Headquarters in Maiduguri.


Borno Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum has commended the doggedness and untiring efforts of the founder and president of the Al-Ansar foundation Dr. Mohammad Kyari Dikwa for chosen the path of investment in his home state inspite of the lingering security challenges in the state.

The Governor who was represented by his deputy H.E Umar Usman Kadafur stated this during the official launching and commissioning of Al-ansar security service and corporate headquarter at ASSL complex No 10 Gombole street Old GRA Maiduguri.

The Governor early last year has performed similar functions with land mark projects executed by the foundation which include Al-ansar Radio, Al-ansar Academy and laid the foundation stone for the construction of the first ever private and indigenous university in Maiduguri as well as the second private university in the part of the country.

The Governor said the decision to established private security outfit will no doubt be beneficial to the citizenry and the state and it is going to provide job opportunity to the teeming unemployed youth especially at this critical time of resettlement of displaced communities 

Professor Babagana Umara Zulum reiterated that government is ever ready to provide the enabling environment to ensure the smooth take off, of the private security outfit or any other similar initiative that would provide job opportunities that could boost the recovery effort of the state.
