The Honourable Member representing the good people of Ankpa, Olamaboro and Omala Federal Constituency of Kogi State and the Chairman Committee on Steel Development at the 9th Assembly banged another AWARD OF EXCELLENCE at his office, National Assembly, Abuja.
The most deserving Award of Excellence was conferred on the Capacity building and nationally influential Legislator today, 10th day of February, 2022 by the Igala Students Association ISA National in Appreciation for his outspoken and responsive representation so far as Representative Member representing a Federal Constituency of Igala Kingdom. Especially his unreserved patriotic efforts in the area of human resource development in recent time.
Comrade Bedmasi Musa, the immediate past National President of the Association while presenting the Award, in his brief speech, commended the House of Reps Member, for his outspokenness and timely recent motion moved at the House for Urgent Probe of Dangote's Coal Mining Activities in Ankpa Local Government of Kogi State. "We are aware and proud of your proactiveness, doggedness and influence in the House just in this your first term at the National Assembly. Your timely motion for the Urgent Probe of Dangote's Coal Mining Activities in Ankpa Local Government is a renewal of our hope of justice great concern for our people of Ankpa and in extension to Olamaboro and Omala Constituency and the Igala land and Nigeria at large. Indeed, your competency is second to non hence our unanimous decision to have conferred on you, this Award of Excellence in stimulating and propelling your efforts for more at the House and beyond 2023." He commented.
While responding, the people's Honourable thanked the Association leaders for keeping an eagle eye on his stewardship at the National Assembly for that is demanded of every progressive minded constituents towards ensuring check and balances and accountability. He assured the Igala Students of more responsive, quality and qualitative representation from him hence the development of his immediate and extended constituehis is his utmost priority day in day out.
