Governor of Borno state, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum alongside Senators Kashim Shettima, Deputy Governor, Umar Kadafur, other national and state assembly members, other top government and party officials and chieftains within and outside the state, on Saturday stormed the residence of chairman of the APC in Borno state, Hon Ali Bukar Dalori when his three children got married on Saturday in Maiduguri.
The Chief Imam of Borno, Imam Zannah Laisu Ibrahim performed the wedding Fatiha for the three Children namely Babagana Ali Bukar Dalori, Fatima Ali Bukar Dalori and Fiddat Sulyman Jummah, who was raised by the chairman.
Governors Zulum, Mai Mala Buni and Senator Shettima served as representatives (Walis) of the chairman’s family during the wedding rites. Governor Buni was represented.
Zulum later held a beautifully organized wedding reception at the Government House in honour of Dalori and his guests.
Aside Zulum and Shettima, the wedding fatiha was attended by top dignitaries amongst them, the Senator representing Borno North, Abubakar Kyari, Chief whip of the house of representatives M.T Monguno and representatives AbdulKadir Rahis, Engr Satomi Ahmad, Dr Zainab Gimba, Usman Zannah and Ibrahim Abuna.
Minister of the state for Agriculture, Mustapha Baba Shehuri, former Deputy Governor of Taraba State Alhaji Uba Maigari, chairmen of APC from Yobe, Taraba, Bauchi, Kaduna, Niger, Gambe, Edo and Enugu states were in attendance.
Members of Borno state executive council led by the SSG, Head of Service, Chief of Staff, Commissioners, special advisers, senior special assistants and special assistants, heads of government establishments, permanent secretaries and other top civil servants, party executives at all levels, top politicians, members of the business community, party supporters and many others were part of big gathering at the wedding.
